Dr Adasuriya is a Cardiologist with an interest in electrophysiology and devices. His clinical research is focused on wearable devices, remote monitoring and AI in cardiovascular medicine. Dr Adasuriya is also an NHS clinical entrepreneur, works in digital healthtech consultancy and has a passion for medical education, regularly preparing trainee doctors for their Royal College exams. He has published several peer reviewed papers and authored book chapters. Dr Adasuriya was the study lead for REMOTE-AF, a clinical study investigating the use of wearable devices in detecting Atrial Fibrillation (AF). Outside work, he is a proud father of one and has a passion for cricket and Liverpool FC!
