Sarah Birkhoelzer is a Cardiology Registrar with a subspecialty interest in cardiovascular imaging and heart failure. She is currently doing a PhD at Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research in Advanced MRI to investigate Cardiometabolic disease in patients with heart failure and diabetes. Sarah advocates for diversity and inclusion and is a member of the British Cardiovascular Society (BCS) Women in Cardiology committee. She has founded the Women in Cardiology mentorship programme to improve the personal and professional wellbeing of women in cardiology. She is excited to connect with hearts around the world!
