Dr Jaideep Dhariwal is a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Guy’s Severe Asthma Centre, Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Foundation Trust. He obtained a PhD investigating mechanisms of allergen and respiratory viral induced exacerbations of asthma in 2016, from Imperial College London. His PhD was funded by a grant from the Medical Research Council and GSK, with a specific focus on the role of innate lymphoid cells in asthma. He is part of the specialist multi-disciplinary team who provide care for patients with severe eosinophilic asthma, EGPA and other eosinophilic lung diseases and has published in the field of biologic therapies in asthma and mechanisms of virus induced asthma exacerbations.
