Alisa Jewitt is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with the Manchester ACT Service, working within the Children’s Community Nursing team in Manchester. She qualified as a nurse 26 years ago and recently completed an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (Paediatrics). For the past 12 years, she has worked in community settings, delivering high-quality, compassionate healthcare to children and their families. Alisa has a strong interest in supporting parents to manage their child’s health during episodes of acute minor illness, while also helping families to recognise the early signs of deterioration. Her practice is centred on empowering parents with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed decisions, ensuring children remain safe and receive timely medical support when needed.
