Dr Claribel Simmons is a Consultant Respiratory Physician based at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert, Scotland. She has subspecialist interests in Lung cancer, COPD and Hospital at Home. She graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2004. She completed her specialty training in Respiratory Medicine in Newcastle. She previously worked as a GP in Scotland. In 2018, she was awarded her MD in Prognostication in Advanced Cancer from the University of Edinburgh. She is Deputy Director for Medical Education at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
