Anne is a Consultant Dietitian with extensive experience in clinical nutrition and personalised dietetic care, gained across a vast array of clinical conditions. With 38 years of practice spanning a number of sectors including the NHS, the medical nutrition industry, research and education, and volunteer leadership roles in national organisations including BAPEN, BDA, NICE, she is recognised for translating evidence based nutrition science into practical strategies and pathways to improve patient outcomes. Anne’s current clinical work focuses on complex nutritional needs with a strong emphasis on providing compassionate, person centred care. She has led on numerous local and national initiatives to facilitate the recognition of malnutrition and the provision of nutritional care delivered by members of the multidisciplinary team and was a key driver behind the establishment of the Malnutrition Pathway www.malnutritionpathway.co.uk. Anne is a recipient of multiple national awards and is a respected educator and speaker, known for her clear, engaging approach whereby she aims to empower clinicians and patients and carers, on the management of nutritional issues to optimise health.
