Prof Viktoria is a Consultant Dermatologist and the Lead for the Vitiligo Clinic and Research for adult and paediatric patients at Walsall Healthcare & The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trusts. She is a substantive Consultant and treats patients with a variety of skin conditions, both on the NHS and privately, including eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer and acne.
Her dermatology training was undertaken in the East and West Midlands, and she completed her PhD on clinical dermatology at the University of Nottingham, UK, funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).
Since 2010, she frequently presents at national and international meetings. Currently, she leads several national and international projects and is an Associate Professor at the College of Medical and Health , University of Birmingham. She has been awarded multiple awards from the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD).
She is a Section Editor for the British Journal of Dermatology, one of the top three dermatological journals in the world and has more than 100 academic publications at the highest impact scientific journals such as The Lancet, British Journal of Dermatology and the Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA).
